If you are a younger driver, you should be aware that you may by liable to pay a young driver surcharge when collecting your vehicle.

What are Young Driver Charges?

To rent a vehicle in the UK, you must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 12 months. For any drivers under 25 years old, a Young Driver Charge will apply.

How much are Young Driver Charges?

In the UK, the Young Driver Charge is from £32.50 per day (including VAT), capped at 10 days, and is applicable to all drivers under 25 years old. Please note that this fee changes by country and car type.

Prices quoted are for rentals collected from "Standard" locations. Rentals from "Premium" locations will be £37.70 per day, capped at 10 days.
